- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
- Shift: Days, 4x10s — 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Contract: 13 weeks
- EMR: Epic — required
- Floating: Yes — travelers may float to nearby sister facilities as needed
- Experience: 1+ year RN experience required
- Weekend: Yes — approximately once every 3–4 weeks
- Call: Yes — 1 primary + 1 secondary call shift every 4 weeks listed in unit notes; agency/per diem call language differs, so verify for this specific traveler assignment
- Certifications: ACLS + BLS required; PALS preferred
- Unit: 29-bay PACU across 2 floors, recovering pediatric (1+), adult, and geriatric patients after procedures requiring anesthesia or spinal anesthesia
- Case Mix: General, vascular, cardiac/CVL, orthopedic, neuro/spine, trauma, GI, IR, bariatric, ENT, plastics, pediatric, and gynecologic procedures
- Specialty Cases: Watchman, TAVR, EP cases, and occasional pre-op ICU patients
- Facility: Level II Trauma Center
- Patient Volume: Approximately 70 OR/IR/CVL cases per day
- Radius Rule: 50 miles — locals are NOT accepted
- License: Compact RN license must be in hand at submission
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- RTO: Must be submitted upfront; maximum 7 days
