Description:
As an LPN in Behavioral Health, you will provide care to patients with dementia and related behavioral challenges. Working in a structured environment, you will employ specific behavioral management techniques and assist with medication administration. Collaborating with a team of professionals, you will focus on individualized care and successful discharge planning for residents. Your role is crucial in stabilizing patients and ensuring they receive the attention they need.
Requirements:
• 2 years of relevant LPN Behavioral Health experience
• AHA BLS
• EPIC EMR
• NY LPN License
🩺 SKILLS: Locked Unit, Skilled Nursing Facility/ Nursing Home, Behavior management techniques, Managing Assaultive Behavior, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, De-Escalation Protocols, Intake and Output monitoring, Isolation Precautions, Labeling of specimens, Vital Sign monitoring
