Travel Cardiac Telemetry RN | Stepdown/PCUShift: 12-hour days Hours: 36 per week Contract: 13 weeks Weekends: Every other weekendRequired Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of RN experience.</li><li>Cardiac telemetry experience.</li><li>BLS and ACLS.</li><li>Completed, accurate telemetry skills checklist.</li></ul>Required Cardiac Experience<ul><li>TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, and heart catheterization patients.</li><li>Preoperative and postoperative open-heart care following transfer from CVICU, including CABG patients more than 3 days postop.</li><li>Cardiac IV and oral medications, anticoagulants, and fixed-rate cardiac drips: Cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, and insulin.</li><li>CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, and pulmonary embolism.</li><li>TR band use, groin/access-site management, and recognition of procedural complications.</li><li>Sepsis, pneumonia, stroke, and observation patients.</li></ul>ResponsibilitiesProvide patient-centered nursing care, assess and coordinate treatment, safely administer medications, and educate patients and families on recovery and disease management.
