Emergency Dept RN

Role Overview

  • Travel RN position in the Emergency Room
  • 1 opening
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Rotating weekends/as needed
  • No call
  • Float as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (5 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • CPI

Preferred

  • ICU experience in addition to ED experience
  • Lots of Emergency Room experience

Unit Details

  • 31 beds and 2 Triage rooms
  • 7 of the 31 beds are used for Behavioral Health or Acute patients
  • Serves all ages
  • Patient ratio is 1:4

Additional Notes

  • Handle with Care is available on-site
  • Random drug screening is completed on site
  • Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel
