Description

Types of patients/cases in the unit: 16-bed ER with 1 trauma bay and 4 fast-track beds. High volume of stroke and STEMI patients, with cath lab that operates 24/7. We see a lot of MVC traumas, as well as a high psychiatric and geriatric population due to the numerous nursing homes in the area. The department also treats pediatric patients.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience

1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

BLS (AHA only)
ACLS (AHA only)
PALS (AHA only)
TNCC
RN License in state of TX or compact

Work Schedule:

7PM - 7AM
