Description

Job Description:

Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms, assess changes in condition, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
Administer medications, perform assessments, and maintain accurate patient documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
May float to J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for patients with similar acuity and population needs.
Participate in ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation; passing scores are required.
Traveler must work at least every other holiday during the assignment.

Requirements:

Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required.
Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand.
AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
Facility will make every effort to honor the traveler’s preferred shift but may rotate shifts based on operational needs.
