Description
Title: RN SDU
Duration: 8 Weeks contract + higher possibility of extension for entire winter season
Shift: Nights (3x12) 36 hours
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90034
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Step-Down/Progressive Care Unit.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions, vital signs, and clinical status.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygen levels, and other telemetry parameters as required.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly notify the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Administer medications, IV medications, fluids, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
- Care for patients requiring telemetry, oxygen therapy, and other intermediate-level interventions.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Relevant minimum of 2+ years of step-down/progressive care—telemetry or critical-care experience
- Current BLS and ACLS-AHA certification.
