Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Manage patients with complex and critical care needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Float to Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU as needed.
• Maintain safe and effective patient care standards.

Requirements

• PICU experience required.
• 1 year of experience accepted.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Expected patient ratio: 1:2.
• Weekend availability required; schedule is variable.
• Self-scheduling available; block scheduling is not required.
• Must work 3×12-hour shifts per week.
• 48-hour schedules not approved.
• On-call not required.
• Must be willing to float between PICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, and NICU.
