Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor.
• Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
• Perform sterile vaginal examinations (SVE).
• Provide care for postpartum couplets and antepartum patients.
• Support high-risk perinatal patients in a Level III setting.
• Collaborate with delivering providers, CRNAs, surgical staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Float to Postpartum as required.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic.
• Support safe patient care during deliveries and surgical procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of L&D RN experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• High-risk L&D/perinatal experience required.
• SVE experience is a hard stop.
• Experience with facilities handling 200+ deliveries preferred.
• Candidates with 100–200 deliveries may be considered.
• BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring required.
• Weekend availability required.
• Must be willing to float to Postpartum.
• On-call not required.
• Locals not accepted.
• All RTO must be included at the time of submission.
• Facility may call off one 12-hour shift per 2-week period.
• Epic experience required.
