Requirements

2+ years of ER/RN experience
Epic experience required
Travel experience not required
Community hospital experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & TNCC
Experience with adult & pediatric emergency care

Skills

Emergency/Trauma nursing
Triage & cardiac monitoring
Dysrhythmia interpretation
IV starts, phlebotomy & central lines
Intubation & ventilated patient care
Chest tubes & arterial lines
BiPAP/CPAP
IV vasopressors & emergency medications
Procedural sedation
Stroke, STEMI, DKA, CHF & trauma care
Psychiatric emergencies, SI/HI & overdose

Unit Details

Patient Ratio: 1:4
Daily Census: ~100
22-bed ER
Weekend: 2 shifts per contract
Orientation: 24 hours
Level II Trauma / STEMI / Stroke-certified environment
