Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatric ER | Dallas, TX

 

Location: 7777 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX 75230
Department: Pediatric Emergency Department
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Experience: 1+ year
EMR: Meditech
Call: No
Floating: Yes – Pediatric spaces

 

Weekly Pay Package

  • Weekly Gross: $1,800
  • Weekly Taxable: $261
  • Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,539
  • Taxable Hourly Rate: $7.25/hour
  • Overtime: $10.88/hour after 40 hours

Position Overview

Greenstaff Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Medical City Dallas.

This position is ideal for an RRT with pediatric and critical care experience who is comfortable caring for pediatric patients with a variety of respiratory conditions and emergencies.

 

Unit Details

  • 15-bed Pediatric Emergency Department
  • 3rd Floor, Building E
  • Pediatric patient population
  • 1 Respiratory Therapist assigned to the Pediatric ED
  • Patient ratio: 1 therapist for the Pediatric ED
  • No on-call requirement
  • Floating to other pediatric spaces may be required
  • EMR: Meditech

Required Skills

Must Have:

  • Pediatric respiratory experience
  • Critical care experience
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant RRT experience

Preferred:

  • Pediatric critical care experience
  • Pediatric Emergency Department experience
  • Critical care respiratory experience
Clinical Procedures Experience with the following is preferred: Bronchiolitis scoring Respiratory arrest Noninvasive ventilation Invasive ventilation Pediatric respiratory emergencies Critical care respiratory management
