Nuclear Medicine Supervisor (PET/CT) – Travel Contract
Location: Fairbanks, Alaska

Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Supervisor with strong PET/CT expertise to lead the implementation of a brand-new service line. This is a unique opportunity to build and manage a PET/CT program from the ground up while also remaining hands-on in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and launch of a new PET/CT program (cardiac & oncology)
- Function initially in a consultative role, transitioning into department leadership
- Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging as needed
- Oversee daily operations of the unit once live
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards (including USP 825)
- Manage hot lab operations and radiopharmaceutical handling
- Supervise and mentor staff (1 direct report)
- Collaborate with leadership to develop workflows, protocols, and best practices
Must-Have Credentials
- NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 3+ years of leadership/management experience
- Minimum 3+ years of PET/CT experience (clinical or leadership)
- Strong knowledge of PET/CT regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with hot lab procedures and USP 825 standards
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience launching or expanding a PET/CT program
- Consultant-level or program development experience

- Orientation: Begins with Monday onboarding; schedule finalized onsite
- Up to 14 days RTO allowed (must be submitted upfront)
