Position: Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

 FTE 12 hour rotating shifts, rotating 7a-7p and 7p-7a with rotating weekends.

 Guaranteed Hours per week: 36. 

Minimum requirements: Minimum one-year hospital nursing experience. Certifications required: MN RN license, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification within 30 days of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification within one year of hire, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification within one year of hire, Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification within one year of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN). 

Job Summary: Plans, organizes, directs, and provides holistic care for patients utilizing the nursing process in evaluating total patient care needs and following the directives of the professional and regulatory bodies. Possess and demonstrate skills in physical assessment, decision making, delivery of age-appropriate patient care and discharge planning, including medication and treatment administration per hospital policies and procedures. Adept at patient-family teaching, accurate documentation in electronic medical records, and delegating tasks to other levels of care providers within the department.

Salary Range (hourly) : $40.09 to $60.34 per hour based on experience.
