Position Summary: 

Seeking an experienced CVOR RN to provide holistic, individualized patient and family-centered care within a cardiovascular operating room setting. This role uses the full nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation — in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in partnership with patient, family, and care team
• Use the nursing process to safely and therapeutically care for CVOR patients
• Evaluate patient/family progress toward care goals and adjust interventions as needed
• Identify and respond to patient/family educational needs with individualized teaching plans
• Serve as patient advocate, supporting patient/family participation in care decisions
• Document care per department guidelines and policies
• Delegate care to other team members within their scope of practice
• Coordinate and communicate with the broader healthcare team to support patient progress and workflow

Requirements:

• Active California RN license
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• 3 years of recent RN experience required
• 2 years of recent RN experience in a specialty area required

Shift: 12hr Days
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
