Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) | Per Diem Opportunities

Make a difference in every delivery. We are partnering with a leading acute care hospital to hire experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses for flexible per diem opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced LDRP environment and are committed to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

Position Highlights

• Shift Options Available:
  • Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM ($51.53/hr)
  • Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM ($52.69/hr)
• Flexible per diem scheduling
• Competitive pay

• Must work at least one shift every 60 days to remain active

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP).
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and intervene appropriately when needed.
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient care according to established policies and physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, and newborn care.
• Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record.
• Respond effectively in emergency situations involving obstetric and neonatal patients.

Minimum Qualifications

✅ Active RN license in good standing

✅ Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required

✅ Current certifications:

• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• AWHONN
• NRP
• STABLE

✅ Experience with Cerner EMR

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing or per diem experience
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
