Med-Surg/Telemetry Manager

Shift: Day 5*8 (40 hrs/week)

Contract: 8 weeks (highly potential to extend and long term contract) 

Travel pay: $4,939.00/week gross

Local pay: $110.00/hr 

Seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee Med-Surg/Telemetry operations in a 24/7 acute-care environment. The Manager is responsible for safe, high-quality patient care, clinical operations, staffing, performance management, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead nursing teams and ensure safe, standardized, patient-centered care.
• Manage staffing, resource utilization, budgets, supplies, and daily unit operations.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff while supporting professional development.
• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and care coordination.
• Drive quality, patient safety, operational efficiency, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, Joint Commission standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain survey readiness, emergency preparedness, and appropriate clinical competencies.
• Address escalated patient/family concerns and support effective resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in patient care delivery.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) AND minimum five (5) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or a directly related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
