Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Assignment

• Position: Cath Lab Technician / Cath Lab Technologist
• Department: Cath Lab
• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Contract: Posting shows 112 weeks — verify this with the Account Manager, as this is unusually long for a travel assignment.
• Schedule: Days with rotating weekends

Position Description

The Cath Lab Technologist is an essential member of the cardiovascular procedural team. The technologist assists physicians and the clinical team during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including:

• Cardiac catheterization
• Coronary angiography
• Angioplasty/interventional cardiac procedures
• Electrophysiology procedures
• Other invasive cardiovascular procedures

The technologist is responsible for supporting the procedural team, preparing equipment and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting with patient care throughout procedures.

Required Experience

IR experience is specifically required.

Candidates should have relevant experience in a Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology environment and be comfortable working with invasive procedures and specialized procedural equipment.

Required Certifications / Credentials

• BLS required
• Core Mandatory Exam – Allied/Non-Nursing
• Cath Lab Tech skills competency
• IR experience required

Schedule & Call

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating weekends
• Call required

Candidates should be prepared to participate in the facility's call rotation and work rotating weekend coverage as scheduled.
