Description
- Shift: 8-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Experience: 1–2 years PT experience in an acute-care or rehabilitation setting — required
- Certifications/Requirements: Current state PT license, current CPR certification, current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Unit/Role: Physical Therapist providing care to patients of all age groups, with treatment focused on neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders
- Setting: Healthcare/Home Care; previous home care experience preferred
- Key Responsibilities: Patient assessment, development/revision of Plan of Care (POC), therapeutic treatment, mobility/transfer training, durable medical equipment instruction, patient/family education, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program required
- Radius Rule: Not mentioned, but local travel is required
