Cath Lab RN – 13-Week ContractLocation: Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 Pay: $65–$67/hour Contract: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM On-Call: Availability preferredWe are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Provide nursing care throughout Cath Lab procedures, including admission, recovery, and discharge</li><li>Participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including complex PCI</li><li>Provide pre- and post-procedure care for Cath Lab and EP patients</li><li>Administer IV medications and monitor patient response</li><li>Perform triage, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, and cardiac monitoring</li><li>Provide wound care and assist with restraints when clinically appropriate</li><li>Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary Cath Lab team</li><li>Follow all hospital safety, infection-control, and procedural protocols</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Active New York State RN License</li><li>Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab procedural experience</li><li>Strong cardiac assessment and monitoring skills</li><li>Experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Cath Lab experience involving admission, recovery, and discharge</li><li>Cath and EP pre/post experience</li><li>Ability and availability to participate in on-call coverage</li></ul>Pay: $65–$67/hour Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM Assignment Length: 13 weeksQualified Cath Lab RNs are encouraged to apply.
