Requirements:

• 2+ years of SLP experience – REQUIRED
• Active Texas SLP License OR Compact License – REQUIRED
• Long-Term Care (LTC) experience
• Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• No references required at time of submission

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop treatment plans to improve:
  • Swallowing abilities
  • Cognitive abilities
  • Communication skills
  • Aspiration prevention
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to residents.
• Develop communication strategies to help patients better understand and communicate with others.
• Lead, guide, and direct delivery of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology services.
• Ensure care complies with local, state, and federal regulations, facility policies, and established standards.
• Provide appropriate care and services to residents in the LTC setting.
