Description
- Shift: Days, 4x10s — 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- EMR: Epic — required
- Floating: Required if EP experience; may float to EP Lab if Cath Lab/IR volume is low. Travelers may also float to other units/facilities as needed.
- Experience: 2+ years in a STEMI/PCI facility — required
- Weekend/Call: On-call required
- 1 weeknight call each week
- 2 weekend call periods per 13-week contract (Friday 6 PM–Monday 7 AM)
- 1 holiday call if applicable
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R) — all required
- License: Michigan license must be in hand at submission
- Must-Have: STEMI-ready experience + IABP and Impella training
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab supporting cardiac catheterization, PCI, structural heart, neuro, vascular, and CTO procedures; approximately 25–30 cases/day across 7 rooms
- Key Skills: Angioplasty, stent placement, cardiac cath, PCI, IABP, Impella, EP, vascular procedures, EKGs, IV starts, paracentesis, thoracentesis
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted based on experience
- Radius Rule: 50 miles — locals are NOT accepted
RTO: 7+ days requires manager approval; no holiday RTO
