- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
- 3 weeks / 91 days
- Nights: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 36 hours/week
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Minimum 2 years PCU experience
- BLS + ACLS required
- NIHSS required
- EPIC experience required
- Cardiac experience preferred
- Strong IV starts, telemetry & conscious sedation skills
- Patient ratio: 1:3–4
- Must be willing to float to similar/lower-acuity units within OSU
- Adults; 30-bed PCU
- General cardiology, EP, cardiac surgery overflow
- Rotating holidays required
- Weekdays and some weekends
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
- 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be manager/director/supervisor
- Active compact or Ohio RN license required at submission
- RTO must be submitted upfront
- Former OSU employees eligible after 6 months away; current OSU employees are not eligible
- Ohio fingerprinting is urgent and must be completed immediately after signing
- Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday before start, no exceptions
- Education must be ACEN or CCNE accredited
