Laboratory Technician:

Facility: W. W. Hastings Hospital
Location: 1612 E. Downing St., Tahlequah, OK 74464
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift: Night Shift

Position Overview:

W. W. Hastings Hospital is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician with strong experience in Chemistry and Blood Bank. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry instrumentation and Cerner Millennium.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience
• Must be a registered Laboratory Technician through:
  • ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology), or
  • AMT (American Medical Technologists)
• AHA BLS certification – Required and must be in hand
• Blood Bank experience – Required
• Pediatric (Peds) laboratory experience – Required
• Chemistry experience – Required
• Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer experience – Required
• Cerner Millennium experience – Required
• Strong Chemistry, Orthopedics/Ortho, and Blood Bank experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy experience – Preferred, but not required

Equipment / Systems:

• Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Chemistry Analyzer
• Cerner Millennium

Scrubs

• Solid-color scrubs required
• Hunter Green preferred
• No Maroon or Royal Blue
