PAY:

Traveler Pay: $3067 weekly ($45/hr. on w2 + $1267/week Stipend) for 36 hours.

JOB DETAILS:

• Position - RN Operating Room
• Location - 830 Washington Street, Watertown, New York, 13601
• Duration - 13 weeks contract
• Shift - 7a-3:30p
• Weekly - 40 hours

REQUIREMENT:

• Must have at least 2+ years Operating Room experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New York State RN license.
• BLS, ACLS certificate
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care.
• Ability to assess patients' clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual needs.
• Strong lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills.
• Knowledge and safe use of clinical equipment and instrumentation used in an OR/ASU setting.
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and appropriately use patient lifts and other equipment for safe patient handling.
• Radius Rule: 100-mile radius
• Local candidate are not accepted 

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Previous preceptor, charge nurse, or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and provide strong clinical leadership.
• May be required to assume Charge Nurse responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to remain effective and professional in stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain a safe and aseptic environment.

On-Call Requirement

• On-call coverage is required.
• Must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes when called in.
