Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

📍 Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95405
💰 Pay Rate: $94/hr W2

⏰ Shift: Days | 5x8s | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM / 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday
☎️ Call: Required – 3 call shifts every 2 weeks
📅 Weekend Call: Approximately every 6 weeks

Required Qualifications – HARD REQUIREMENT

Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience
ARRT (R) – Required
California CRRT State License – Required and must be in hand
California Fluoroscopy Permit – Required
ACLS – Required
BLS – Required
Epic experience – Required
Pending California license is not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

CCI/RCIS preferred
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs
Interventional Radiology experience
Structural heart procedure experience preferred

Key Clinical Skills

Candidates should have strong experience with cardiac cath procedures, including:

Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
Left and right heart catheterization
PCI/PTCA and cardiac stent placement
Hemodynamic monitoring
IABP placement/removal
Impella insertion
Permanent and temporary pacemakers
Dysrhythmia interpretation
Vascular procedures and angiography
Fluoroscopy
Sterile technique and infection control

Experience with TAVR, Watchman, carotid stenting and thrombectomy/thrombolysis is preferred.

Call Requirements

3 call shifts within a 2-week period
Weekday call: approximately 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekend call required approximately every 6 weeks
Weekend call runs from Friday afternoon through Monday morning

Position Details

3 procedure rooms
Average daily census: approximately 15
Adult and geriatric patient population
Cardiac intervention/radiology environment with structural heart procedures
Scrubbing is not required
First-time travelers are accepted
RTO limited to no more than 7 days
Scrubs provided
COVID-19 vaccination not required
