CVICU # Beds 18- Mixed acuity with Step Down and ICU status patients Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:1 fresh hearts & devices, 1:2 ICU status patients, 1:3 step down status patients Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients Atrial fibrillation, Heart blocks, Bradycardia, NSTEMI, STEMI, Cardiac Arrest, Hyper/Hypotension, Pulmonary Embolisms, Cardiogenic Shock, Heart Surgery (CABG/Valves), Heart Failure, Thoracic Surgery (VATS, Lobectomy, etc) Please list out common patients/diagnosis seen on the unit
