Description

Pharmacist - Inpatient Pharmacy

Key Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1+ year of Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist experience required.
Licensure: Active California State Pharmacist License.
Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required.
EMR: Epic proficiency required.

Core Responsibilities & Clinical Skills

Order Verification: Review, verify, and fill inpatient medication orders accurately.
Clinical Monitoring: Monitor patient drug therapy, evaluate drug interactions, and ensure safe medication practices.
Operations & Supervision: Direct and supervise pharmacy technicians; manage IV compounding and medication distribution.
