Ready for your next ICU adventure in Colorado? We’re looking for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join a hospital-based critical care team in Lafayette, Colorado.

This assignment is a great opportunity for an ICU RN who enjoys providing high-acuity patient care, working within a collaborative clinical team, and wants a consistent 3×12-hour night schedule during a 13-week Colorado assignment.

• 🌙 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 🗓 Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts

• 📆 Weekends: Required — 7 weekend shifts within 8 weeks
• 👩‍⚕️ Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• 📋 License: Single-State or Compact RN license

🫀 Your Role in Critical Care

As an ICU RN, you'll provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients while closely monitoring changes in condition and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform detailed assessments and continuously monitor critically ill patients.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care, therapies, and treatments.
• Administer medications and perform delegated medical functions within scope of practice.
• Closely monitor patient responses to treatment and changes in clinical status.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and review treatment plans.
• Coordinate referrals and additional evaluations when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Utilize clinical resources appropriately.
• Promote a safe, compassionate, patient-centered care environment.
• Float to other departments within your competency when required.

✅ Requirements

Experience & Education

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Recent ICU/Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an ASN or higher.
• Active RN license — Single-State or Compact.

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
