An immediate 13-week travel contract opening is available for an experienced Inpatient Oncology / Hematology Registered Nurse (RN) in Boston, Massachusetts. Operating within a high-acuity, specialized adult oncology unit at a major teaching and academic medical center, this high-compensating role features a 3x12 rotating schedule (36 hours guaranteed weekly). HIGH-PAYING BOSTON ACADEMIC PACKAGE! CONDITIONAL MASSACHUSETTS LICENSURE ACCEPTED! ZERO MANDATORY ON-CALL! The unit delivers advanced clinical interventions across hematologic malignancies, complex solid tumors, bone marrow transplants (BMT), and cutting-edge cellular therapies. - Weekly Gross: $3,300.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $2,580.00

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3x12-Hours (36 hours guaranteed weekly).
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
- Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (October 19, 2026 – January 17, 2027).
- On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!
- Department Setting: Acute Care Inpatient Oncology Unit (6BCD).
- Floating Scope: May float to related sister inpatient oncology units based on patient census.
- Clinical Scope & Oncology Specialty:
- Inpatient care for complex hematologic malignancies: acute Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma.
- Comprehensive management of diverse solid tumor diagnoses and acute oncologic emergencies (neutropenic sepsis, tumor lysis syndrome).
- Administration and post-infusion surveillance of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and advanced cellular therapies.
- Facilitation and management of active oncology investigational clinical trials.
- Core Competencies & Equipment: Continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, PCA pump management, rapid blood warmers, Baxter infusion pumps, and bladder scanners.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care inpatient Hematology/Oncology clinical nursing experience. Proven experience caring for leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, solid tumors, cellular therapies, and clinical trials is strictly required.
- Licensure:
- Active Massachusetts RN License OR
- Conditional License Accepted (Candidates who have already applied for MA licensure or are willing to immediately apply upon offer acceptance are eligible for submission).
- Certifications Required (Documents in hand):
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
