Description
Seeking an experienced Flex/Float RN to provide nursing care across multiple medical and surgical units, with occasional assignments to the Cardiovascular Unit. The RN must be comfortable adapting to different patient populations, workflows and nurse-to-patient ratios based on staffing needs.
Units:
• Medical Unit – 77 beds; approximately 1:8 ratio on nights
• Laulima Surgical Acute Unit – 18 beds; approximately 1:6 ratio
• Cardiovascular Unit – 15 beds; approximately 1:4 ratio
Requirements:
• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• 2–10 years of nursing experience
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred/required per facility requirements
• PALS, TNCC, ENPC and Procedural Sedation preferred
Equipment/Systems:
• Meditech EMR
• Pyxis
• Wound VAC
• Chest tubes
