Position Highlights
Direct outpatient pharmacy services at a full-scope ambulatory clinic serving the Taos-Picuris community: prescription interpretation and dispensing, medication counseling, inventory/controlled-substance recordkeeping, and patient medication profile review. OT is based on patient load and historically limited (contract caps it around 48 hrs/year).

Requirements

• Active pharmacist license (any U.S. state/territory)
• BSPharm or PharmD from an accredited program
• 3 professional references + current resume
• Immunization records (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Influenza, Tdap) and TB screening within 12 months
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Must pass federal background/character investigation (fingerprinting, OPM eQIP) — required before start
• Comfortable working with multicultural patient population; interpreter use as needed

Facility Notes
Government-furnished workstation, phone, and PIV card (issued after 120 days). Contractor provides own lab coat/uniform per IHS standards. Non-personal services contract — independent contractor status.
