Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Facility: Ardent Health Services – Hillcrest Medical Center
Location: Tulsa, OK

Shift: Nights – 3×12-hour shifts
Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend: Every other weekend
Requirements
- 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Minimum 1 year experience; candidates should have experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced L&D unit
- Travel experience required per job requirements; first-time travelers may be considered if they have strong high-acuity L&D experience
- BLS and NRP required at submission
- Basic/Intermediate fetal monitoring experience
- ACLS preferred
- AWHONN Intermediate preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
Key L&D Skills
- Labor & Delivery and antepartum care
- High-risk pregnancy management
- Vaginal and high-risk deliveries
- C-section circulation and recovery
- Amnioinfusion
- VBAC / trial of labor
- Fetal monitoring and recognition of abnormal FHR patterns
- External & internal fetal monitoring
- NSTs and sterile vaginal exams
- Magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, terbutaline and other L&D medications
- Antihypertensive and insulin drips
- Postpartum hemorrhage and hemorrhage/shock management
- Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia and HELLP
- Preterm labor and PROM
- Placenta previa/abruption
- Multiple gestations
- Epidural and pain management
- APGAR scoring and neonatal delivery-room care
- Cord blood/sample collection
- Breastfeeding/lactation support
- Postpartum and C-section care
Additional Clinical Skills
- IV starts and maintenance
- Venipuncture/phlebotomy
- Blood and blood-product administration
- Central line/CVC/PICC care
- IV pumps and drips
- Foley catheter management
- D&C, cervical cerclage and tubal ligation
- Isolation precautions/PPE
