Vascular Sonographer – Travel Contract

Specialty: Vascular Sonographer
Shift: Days | 5×8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract: 13 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound studies in an outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic serving patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Vascular Sonography experience
• ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or CCI RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) required
• BLS required
• Epic experience required
• Dedicated vascular ultrasound experience
• North Carolina state license not required

Required Vascular Ultrasound Skills

• Carotid studies
• Upper and lower extremity arterial studies
• Upper and lower extremity venous studies
• DVT and reflux studies
• Vein mapping
• Renal and mesenteric studies
• AAA and aorta studies
• Endograft studies
• PVR/segmental pressures
• Hemodialysis grafts
• Iliac vein studies
• Arterial bypass grafts

Patient Population / Diagnoses

Patients may include those with:

• Peripheral vascular disease (PVD)
• Coronary artery disease (CAD)
• Heart failure (HF)
• CVA
• Venous insufficiency
• Renal/celiac/SMA stenosis
• Renal transplant
• Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS)

Technology & Equipment

• EMR: Epic – required
• VascuPro reporting system
• Philips EPIQ Elite
• Parks PVR/Segmental Pressure machines

Additional Details

• May float to the High Point outpatient lab if needed
• Orientation: 3 days
