Description

Job Breakdown – Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Position: Respiratory Therapist – Adult Only
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Shift: 12-hour days
Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Call: None
Contract: 13 weeks
Charting: Epic
Radius: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; permanent address required at submission

Credentials & Experience

RRT preferred
CRT accepted with 3–5 years of experience
RRT requires 2–3 years of experience
First-time travelers accepted
BLS + ACLS required
PALS/NRP required if covering Peds/NICU
NICU experience requires knowledge of NAVA on Servo vents

Responsibilities

Respiratory treatments
Manage RT equipment
Patient transport
ABGs
Assist with intubation (travelers do not independently intubate)
Approximately 36–42 treatments per 12-hour shift

Patient Population

Adults only for this opening
Adult floors/ICU
May float to Meridian Medical Center or Nampa Medical Center

Other Details

May float to other facilities
Every other weekend + holidays if scheduled
Scrubs: Any clean, professional color
Orientation: Usually 2–3 shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
