Shift: Days
Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Alternative: 4×9-hour shifts may be considered
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract: 91 weeks
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiac catheterization, EP, and IR/vascular procedures in a high-volume department.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required
- RCIS required
- BLS – AHA required
- ACLS – AHA required
- Must have experience with cardiac procedures and sterile scrubbing
- BSN not required
- License required for submission
Department Details
- 7 total procedure rooms
- 4 Cath Lab/EP rooms
- 3 IR/Vascular rooms
- 20+ combined cases per day
- Daily Cath Lab staffing typically includes 1 RN + 3 Techs
- STEMI team: 1 RN + 3 Techs
- EP staffing varies, typically 3–4 team members
- Hybrid responsibilities for vascular cases

- Watchman
- Impella
- IABP
- IFR / FFR
- IVUS
- Rotational atherectomy (Roto)
- Laser procedures
- Device exchanges
- Guidewire and catheter placement
- Balloon and stent deployment
Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure radiation safety
- Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Pull and organize supplies
- Set up sterile tables
- Scrub in and assist physicians during procedures
- Assist with device exchanges, guidewire manipulation, catheter placement, and stent deployment
- Manage radiation dose and imaging angles
- Perform sheath removal as required
- Clean, restock, and turn over procedure rooms
Schedule & Call
- 4×10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Rotating day off
- 4×9-hour shifts may also be considered, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Weeknight call approximately once every 3 weekdays
- Weekend call approximately once every 3 weekends
- Weekend rotation runs Friday–Monday
- Holiday call may be required
- 30-minute call response time
Orientation
- Usually 2–3 full days of training/shadowing
- No call during the first week
- Second week: call with a buddy
- Then independent call

Other Important Details
- Scrubs provided; personal scrub caps permitted
- Local candidates within 80 miles accepted at a rate reduced by $8/hour
- Previous employees of this facility are not accepted
- If the clinician has previously worked for Marshfield, their employment must have ended at least 6 months before submission
- Candidate must clock in and out at the facility
- Client may cancel up to 12 hours during the 13-week period
