Description
Responsibilities
- Provide care to cardiac PCU patients, including MI, arrhythmias, heart failure, vascular and post-open-heart patients.
- Monitor telemetry and manage dysrhythmias.
- Care for chest tubes, epicardial pacers, LVADs, and post-op cardiac patients.
- Perform cardioversion/defibrillation and administer blood products.
- Float to like units as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years RN experience; 2–3 years telemetry experience.
- Surgical Tele, open-heart, and vascular experience required.
- Epic experience required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
- First-time travelers not accepted.
- Every other weekend required.
- VAD/TAVR experience preferred.
