• Facility: Northwest Medical Center
• Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3x12s
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: Within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• Number of Positions: 1
• 38-bed facility
• Will consider 48-hour guarantee
• Must be willing to float
• Scrubs: Black
• EMR: Cerner; experience preferred
• Trauma Level III Certified
• Stroke Receiving
• STEMI Receiving

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• AZ RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH  required
• Charge Nurse experience preferred

Job Description / Duties / Responsibilities

• Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies/procedures.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the safe delivery of patient care.
• Anticipate and plan for patient care needs in the Emergency Department.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Submission / Scheduling

• 3x12-hour night shifts
• Start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• Every 36-hour weekly guarantee; 48-hour guarantee may be considered
• Must be willing to float.
