RN Bone Marrow Transplant/oncology
Shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Certification: BLS (AHA), Chemotherapy Certified – 5/11/18: Preferred but not required
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
- Must have BLS
- At least 2+ years of Experience
- ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- CANCER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- EXPERIENCE WITH MEDIPORTS/PICCS/CENTRAL LINES
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
- Chemotherapy Certified – 5/11/18: Preferred but not required
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
- Active TX RN License-Temp License are no longer accepted
Procedures performed on unit:
- Chemotherapy administration
- CHG Baths, including the central lines and dressings
- Central line, mediport access and lab draws
