Description
- On Call Requirement: None
- Certs/License:
- LA County Fire Card
- Must be MSW and registered with the CA Board (Board of Behavioral Sciences)
- CA ACSW required (LCSW Preferred)
- Master of Social Work degree
- Experience:
- Two years of experience in the specialty required
- Experience working in various units in a medical center including ER, NICU, ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
- Experience with Connecting them to resources
- Basic: Crisis intervention, support a loved one, Goals of care, appointing decision-makers, navigating mental status exam (assess for suicide, self-harm, child abuse, mental abuse)
- Cannot be marriage counselors, LMFT, no counseling degree
- Will accept local travelers
