PAY:

Traveler Pay: $3415 weekly ($32/hr. on w2 + $2135/week Stipend) for 40 hours.

JOB DETAILS:

• Position - RN Operating Room
• Location - 330 Brookline Avenue Boston, Massachusetts 02215 United States
• Duration - 13 weeks contract
• Shift - 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekly - 36 hours

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license are required.
• Required specialty experience:
  • Neuro
  • Orthopedic Trauma
  • Kidney Transplant
• Strong OR experience required, including the ability to scrub and/or circulate.
• Experience with:
  • General Surgery
  • Robotic Surgery
  • Transplants
  • Orthopedics
  • Neuro
  • Spine
  • ENT (primarily Head & Neck)
  • GYN
  • Urology
  • Organ Procurement
  • Trauma

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Up to 2 weekends per month, either through:
  • Call shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays), or
  • Scheduled working shifts
• 30-minute call response time required.
• Short call: Once per week, either 3:00 AM–7:00 AM or 5:00 PM–9:00 PM.
• Holiday coverage may be required during the contract.

Facility & Floating

• Primary assignment will be at the West Main Campus.
• May be required to float to the East Campus or CVI OR.
• OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and primarily handles inpatient Level I trauma surgery.
• The department performs a wide variety of procedures, including bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants.

Additional Requirements

• Local travelers are not accepted. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• ASAP start dates are available, with approximately 4 weeks required for compliance.
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays, except when Monday is a holiday.
• Please provide interview availability (dates and times) at the time of submission.
• All RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at the time of submission and requires approval.
• Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) as permanent or per-diem staff within the past 6 months are not eligible. Candidates must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months to be considered.
• Parking: May cost up to $43/day in some cases. Contact the recruiter for specific parking information.
