Description
RN – NICU | Dover, NH
Start Date: 10/25/2026
End Date: 01/23/2027
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days & Nights | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Unit: Level II NICU
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient NICU experience
- BLS
- NRP
- NH RN license
Unit Details:
- Level II NICU caring for infants born at 32 weeks and above
- 6 NICU rooms supporting up to 10 NICU patients
- 2 stabilization beds for acute NICU needs
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 3–4:1, depending on acuity
- Patients may require CPAP, HFNC, short-term ventilation, peripheral IVs, central lines and NGT feedings
- 24/7 neonatology coverage
- Family Integrated Nursing Care (FINC) model
- Multidisciplinary team including pharmacy, nutrition, OT, SLP, lactation, Child Life and social work
Additional Details:
- Floating house-wide for 1:1 coverage is possible but rare
- May float to Pediatrics for hyperbilirubinemia readmissions, failure to thrive, etc., depending on competency and comfort
