Description
Pediatric Echo Sonographer (Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer) – Day Shift
- Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 | 40 Hours Per Week
- Weekend & Holiday Protocol: No weekend, no holiday, and no on-call requirements.
- Floating Protocol: Occasional floating across regional system campuses as required.
- Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract Assignment | 1 Open Position
- Location Region: Northern Virginia Region
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1+ years of dedicated Pediatric Sonography / Pediatric Echocardiography experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Specialized Cardiac Imaging Knowledge [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency and extensive understanding of congenital heart disease (CHD) and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Primary Professional Credentials [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registration strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
- Registry Preferences: ARDMS Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) registry strongly preferred; Fetal Echocardiography (FE) and Adult Echocardiography (RDCS/AE) are advantageous.
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support — Healthcare Provider) certification MUST BE IN-HAND AT TIME OF SUBMISSION [HARDSTOP].
- EMR & PACS Systems: Clinical proficiency with Epic EMR and Fuji Film Synapse CV PACS systems required.
