Description
Progressive Care Unit / Step-Down Registered Nurse (PCU / Telemetry RN) – Day Shift
- Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
- Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) required.
- On-Call Protocol: No on-call required.
- Floating Protocol: Required to float onsite within clinical skill set or to sister regional facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed. Unit placement will be determined based on facility priority need (PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry).
- Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract Assignment (11/01/2026 – 01/30/2027) | 1 Open Position | Replacement Requisition

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated PCU / Progressive Care / Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Travel Experience [HARDSTOP]: Prior travel healthcare experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- EMR Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Specialty Assessment Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Candidates must complete the RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills checklist prior to submission [HARDSTOP].
- State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active Wisconsin State RN License OR valid Multi-State Compact RN License strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support — Healthcare Provider) and AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications [HARDSTOP].
