🩺 HOME DIALYSIS RN – CONTRACT

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Dialysis Training
Locations: Garland & Canton, TX
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks minimum | Possible extension
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
 

🚨 IMPORTANT LOCATION TRANSITION – MUST READ

• First ~6 weeks: RN will work primarily at the Garland, TX location.
• After approximately 6 weeks: RN will transition to the Canton, TX clinic for the remainder of the assignment.
• The transition from Garland to Canton is a planned part of the assignment.
• Candidates MUST be willing and able to work at BOTH locations.

Primary Initial Location – Garland, TX

• U.S. Renal Care Garland
• 219 W. Kingsley Road, Suite 316, Garland, TX 75041
• RN will remain at this location for approximately the first 6 weeks.

Second Location – Canton, TX

• U.S. Renal Care Canton
• 400 E. Hwy 243, Suite 14, Canton, TX 75103
• RN will transition to this location after approximately 6 weeks and remain there for the remainder of the assignment.

🕐 SCHEDULE

• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Primarily normal weekday home dialysis operations
• No holidays
• Occasional after-hours availability may be required for additional patient training or support
• Schedule may vary based on patient and program needs

👩‍⚕️ POSITION SUMMARY

• Support U.S. Renal Care's home dialysis program in the Dallas area.
• Train new patients and caregivers on the Tablo Hemodialysis System.
• Provide ongoing clinical support to existing patients using Tablo for home dialysis.
• Educate patients to safely and confidently perform dialysis treatments at home.
• Assess patient competency and readiness for independent home dialysis.
• Troubleshoot treatment-related issues and provide additional education as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the clinical care team.

🩺 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train patients and caregivers on Tablo setup, operation, and treatment procedures.
• Provide education on self-care and self-cannulation, when applicable.
• Assess and document patient competency and progress.
• Provide ongoing support to established home dialysis patients.
• Answer treatment-related questions and assist with troubleshooting.
• Reinforce education and provide additional training when needed.
• Monitor patient progress and identify the need for clinical intervention.
• Provide occasional after-hours patient support when required.
• Collaborate with U.S. Renal Care, Outset, nephrologists, and other care team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of training, treatments, competency, and clinical interactions.
• Follow infection prevention and dialysis safety standards.
• Transition from Garland to Canton after approximately 6 weeks as required by the project schedule.
• Manage patient training and support independently.

👥 PATIENT POPULATION

• Home dialysis patients learning to use the Tablo Hemodialysis System
• Existing Tablo patients requiring continued clinical support
• Current U.S. Renal Care model may include approximately 2–3 patient trainings per day

✅ MUST HAVE

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license or applicable Nurse Licensure Compact multistate license
• Recent dialysis experience
• Tablo Hemodialysis System experience – REQUIRED
• Strong patient and caregiver education skills
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness and ability to work at BOTH Garland and Canton locations
• Ability to complete all credentialing, compliance, and onboarding requirements before start
• Ability to complete required Tablo University modules

• Outpatient dialysis experience

• Experience teaching self-care and self-cannulation
• Experience with AV fistula and AV graft access

• Able to build strong relationships with patients transitioning to or continuing home dialysis
• Flexible and willing to transition from Garland to Canton after approximately 6 weeks
• Comfortable maintaining continuity of patient care across both locations

🎓 TABLO TRAINING & ONBOARDING

• Selected RN will be paid for 8 hours of required Tablo module training
• All required Tablo University modules must be completed before assignment start
• Must promptly complete all credentialing, compliance, and onboarding requirements
