Position Overview
We are hiring two Sleep Technicians to support a busy Sleep Medicine team in North Haven. This is a hands-on overnight role supporting patients through sleep studies and helping ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic data.
Direct sleep-lab experience is helpful but not required. - Set up, apply, and monitor EEG, pulse, and, when needed, EKG equipment.
- Observe patients during overnight studies and document pertinent information accurately.
- Assist with CPAP titration studies as assigned.
- Troubleshoot monitoring equipment and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and comfortable patient experience throughout the study.
- Work closely with the Sleep Medicine team to support a high volume of patient testing.
What We’re Looking For

- EEG experience is a strong plus.
- Sleep-study or polysomnography experience is welcomed but not required.
- Monitor Tech, EEG Tech, Sleep Tech, patient-monitoring, or similar clinical backgrounds are a strong fit.
- Comfortable working overnight, three 12-hour shifts per week.
- Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and patient communication skills.
- Local Connecticut candidates preferred.
Why This Role
Sleep studies are a major need for this department, with a high percentage of clinic patients requiring testing. This is a solid entry point into sleep medicine for the right healthcare professional, with hands-on training and a clear path to convert to a long-term role.
