Description
Job Description
- Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care in a labor and delivery setting.
- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.
- Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure proper implementation.
- Perform a wide range of professional nursing services, including labor, postpartum, and special care.
Critical Information
Shift: 7pm-7:30am, every other weekend work
Education/Licenses Needed
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- BLS Certification
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
