CST – Ambulatory OR | Ohio
Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Schedule: 5×8s | 40 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Location: Ohio
Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of CST experience for an ambulatory OR setting. Candidate must have Epic experience and be comfortable floating to other ambulatory sites as needed.
Must-Haves
- Minimum 2 years CST experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist certification
- BLS required
- Epic experience required
- Ambulatory OR experience preferred
- Strong orthopedic/total joint experience preferred
- Able to float to other ambulatory locations
- 2 professional references required:
- At least 1 manager/director/supervisor reference
- 2nd reference may be Charge RN
- No coworker references
- RTO must be provided at submission and included in the contract
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting urgently after signing
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only

Important Compliance
Ohio fingerprinting is urgent. Candidates must complete fingerprints as soon as possible after signing the contract. Delays or failure to cooperate with credentialing may result in a push or cancellation.
Only one Ohio location may be submitted to. The AM team will determine the best facility fit.
Former employees: Eligible after being away from the facility for 6+ months.
Current employees: Not eligible for a traveler assignment at Ohio State University hospital locations.
