Description

R RN | Nights

13 Weeks | 7:30 p.m.–8:00 a.m.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of ED experience
Conscious sedation experience required
BLS, ACLS and CPI/de-escalation training required
PALS not required per position-specific details
Active RN license for the assignment state or applicable compact license
Must pass EKG exam at orientation
Nursing diploma required
Epic experience preferred
No locals—must reside outside the 50-mile radius
No travel teams

Schedule

12-hour nights: 7:30 p.m.–8:00 a.m.
Every other weekend and major holiday required
ITO interview process

Unit Highlights

30 ED beds plus 14 Fast Track beds, with hallway beds as needed
Community ED treating varied medical complaints; no trauma
Typical ratio: 1:4, subject to facility needs and not guaranteed
Position identifies an adult ED, while the unit description lists all ages—confirm patient population

Equipment & Support

Alaris pumps, Hamilton ventilators, AutoPulse and Panda warmers
GlideScope, AmbuScope, ultrasound, EKG machine and bladder scanner
RTs, PCTs, phlebotomy, ED techs and unit secretary
1–2 triage nurses, depending on patient flow
24/7 charge nurse and onsite physician, with advanced practice clinician support
