Description

Inpatient Pharmacist – Tulsa, OK

Position: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Tulsa, OK 74104
Pay Rate: $80/hr W2
Start Date: 10/26/2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Openings: 2
Schedule: 4x10s | 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Experience: Minimum 2 years
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 75-mile radius

Requirements

Active Oklahoma Pharmacist (RPh) License
BLS
Minimum 2 years of inpatient/acute-care pharmacy experience
BCPS preferred
Epic experience preferred
Strong sterile compounding and IV medication experience

Key Skills

Candidates should have experience with IV preparation, sterile technique, compounding, TPN, IV piggybacks, IV push medications, antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, renal dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic drug monitoring, high-alert medications, and Warfarin dosing.

Experience with Pyxis, inpatient medication dispensing systems, and medication management across adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric populations is highly valued.

Assignment Details

This is an inpatient/acute-care pharmacy setting with approximately 450 beds and a daily census of approximately 390 patients. The assignment includes 40 hours of orientation and every-other-weekend coverage.
