Description

Respiratory Therapist

📍 Location: Mason City, IA
Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Contract: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
Shift Options:

6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

Job Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients across various age groups and clinical settings.
Perform respiratory assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Administer respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed therapies.
Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory procedures.
Monitor patient response to treatments and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital respiratory care protocols.

Requirements

Current Respiratory Therapist credentials and required state licensure
Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work either day or night shift
Willingness to work every other weekend and every other holiday

🌞 Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
🌙 Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
📅 13-week contract with possibility of extension
